Dear Prostate Cancer Survivor, Friends, and Volunteers:
We were delighted that almost 5000 walkers participated in the
2007 Boston Prostate Cancer Walk. Our seven successful events have raised
almost $2,000,000 for prostate cancer research and awareness.
In 2007, $355,000,00 in grants were
awarded to Massachusetts organizations. A peer review panel selected the best
proposals submitted. Boston Prostate Cancer Walk provides an opportunity to
contribute to prostate cancer research to benefit you, your sons, your
brothers, and future generations, to support institutions that perform
prostate cancer research.
Please join us for the 2008 Boston Prostate Cancer Walk on
Sunday, June 15, 2008. This year, many more of our physicians are walking with us.
We hope to realize our goal to raise $250,000, and we are counting on your support.
SEND US YOUR REGISTRATION as soon as possible. Even if you can only walk for a short
distance or not at all, please come to support our awareness efforts. We need to show
our legislators and corporate sponsors that we really do care and appreciate their help.
